The Mermaid and the Dolphin

A sad mermaid
In the port she stayed
Waiting with longing
That one day, it would be better
Every day, every day.
She looked at the horizon
And calmly she waited

Every night she sighed
To see the sun
And a good day
The poor mermaid
That in the port
She stayed!

Crying bitterly
Her hair arranged
Crying bitterly
To see a better day

She look around
With amazement
She stayed!

A handsome and special dolphin
To her port he returned
Looking at each other in silence
A noise was heard

It was the soul, the body
The being of the two of them
That with magic
That with magic!
The port filled with love

The prince arrived
Dress in blue and shined!
It was his everlasting love
That returned to the port

The mermaid and the dolphin
They lived a better day
Looking at the stars
They both lived happily

The mermaid and the dolphin
In the port of love.
