My Shy Boy

With the sway of the wind as it passes
The curtains are moving
From a home!
And behind it is hidden
The boy who prefers to hide
In his shyness he sees pass
By everyone and cannot express

In the silence of a wall
Rested in his childhood
A still boy without haughtiness
Just watches a little
From what he can see
Hidden halfway
His face is shy

His big eyes
I could see
His pure soul
His candor
Very quiet again
That is the boy behind the wall

His fragile hands
I can see
How he rubbed that wall
They all said what happened
On the wall?
It was the shy boy
Who learned to hide
His pretty face
That almost no one could see!

My little boy
Shyly
Your big eyes
Your candor
Why did you hide
Your brilliance?
You were a child
That everyone could see

But you insisted
To hide
The best of you
Handsome and wonderful being!
You were a shy boy
But I could always believe
That I would never be alone
After watching you grow

My little boy
The shyness
Is still in you
That bright light
That you always tried
To hide!
You are now a man
That hides your shyness
But behind your eyes
I can see
That wonderful person
That you became
Always giving us
Your warmth

Always smile
Because by doing it
It’s not stupid
The ones around you are
They will come to understand
That a shy boy
Behind the wall
Rose up not haughtily
He got big quickly
A long journey made him grow
And now we can know
That you are a wonderful being
That you refused to make known
