Venezuelan Emigrants!

Wayfarer on the way!
You run away from the horror
That your own homeland lives
Dying of heartbreak

Where lives
A dictator ruler
With their common subjects
Who abide by devotion
Evil orders
From a predator

Wayfarer on the way
You carry in your heart
The acquired memories
In your own nation

Oh what sad pity you carry!
In your backpack an illusion
Wishing to find
A better way!

Between mountains you cross
Facing the sun
You walk in a hurry
Before a downpour falls!

Wayfarer on the way
That you feel cold or hot
Fatigue from so much hunger
An itch on your feet!

Your whole body tired
Looking for a better day
At night!
Your supplications go to the lord
Who looks on your soul
I give you peace and consolation

Wayfarer on the way
Only to God
I beg!
That to your own
Land you can come back
To create a nation
Where everyone
Lives happily and in union!

Wayfarer on the way
On those hard roads
Filled with so much reflection
You become better!
For your own life
Family and friends
And for your own nation

Bringing back home
In your suitcase
Much love and compassion
For those
They waited for your return
With so much emotion

Wayfarer on the way
We will sing a song
All happy and in union

Long live my land!
Long live my country!
Long live my nation!
We will sing!
Happy and in union
